A Club of Clubs
The Evergreen State Volkssport Association (ESVA) is an IRS designated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, registered as a non-profit corporation with the State of Washington and chartered by the American Volkssport Association (AVA) to be the association of all the volkssport clubs in Washington State. Click here to find a list of Washington State volkssport clubs. Its function is to coordinate the activities of member clubs and provide the services state volkssport clubs want and need. Current ESVA’s goals include
- Increase name recognition through marketing.
- Forge partnerships with organizations that have similar interests in physical activity.
- Increase participation at volkssport events by promoting volkssporting as an activity for all ages and demographics.
- Share best practices among clubs.
- Expand the use of technology so communication is easier and more compelling.
- Encourage a culture of inclusiveness to increase member involvement.
- Enhance practices so walkers build friendships through their activities.
- Showcase individual and club achievements, activities and plans.
- Assist in forming new volkssport clubs and help clubs that need assistance.
