The Emerald City Wanderers again provide us with New Year's entertainment. Kick off the New Year and all those New Year's resolutions with a non-competitive walk through West Seattle's interesting residential neighborhoods and business district. You'll head to the waterfront by a different route from the New Year's Eve walk. Weather permitting see panoramic views of Puget Sound, the Olympics and Cascades.
We walk regardless of weather. Remember the Scandinavian saying -- There's no bad weather, just bad clothes.

From I-5 take exit 163 (northbound) or 163A (southbound) and cross the West Seattle bridge. Exit at Admiral Way. Go up Admiral Way a little over a mile to California Ave SW, a major intersection. Turn left and go .3 miles to West Seattle High School parking lot, adjacent to St. John's church and the start.
