Interlaken Trailblazers and Redhook Brewery sponsor this 5th annual walk event, starting at the brewery in Woodinville. Everyone will cross over Dragonfly Bridge and walk along the Sammamish Trail. Some will wander around the town of Woodinville, with the 11K checkpoint at the County Firehouse in Woodinville, and all will enjoy the gardens of Chateau Ste. Michelle. There will be a Blood Pressure station set up at the Firehouse.
This is a great destination walk event with several options to enjoy your day in Woodinville. Drop into the Forecaster’s Pub (doors open at 11:00 AM) for lunch or a tour of the brewery; or wander over to the Barking Frog for a bite to eat. In town, there is Molbak’s, Wilmot Gateway Park, and more restaurants. In addition, several wineries and a distillery will be open for tastings. Leashed pets allowed along the trail, though not in any winery or brew pub. Owners are responsible for cleanup.
The walk is free to the public, with IVV credit, $3.
