NW Regional Conference - August 15-19

Walks are available to everyone, but there are price breaks if you register for the walks through the conference.

Conference Events

August 16 -- A Walk in Northwest Trek Wildlife Park
                    Park Entrance for this walk is not free.  If you preregister through the conference website the group rate entrance fee to the park is $11.50.  This doesn't include credit.  Otherwise, park entrance fees can be found at www.nwtrek.org/hours-prices/.

August 17 -- A Walk on Crystal Mountain Ski Resort 
                    Gondola Ride to Summit House group rate is $17 per person and must be paid with pre-registration.   After riding the gondola to Summit House, you'll be treated to an In-your-face view of Mt. Rainier.  You'll walk on dirt trail down 2,518 feet through alpine meadows full of wildflowers, past a pristine lake and a few islands of melting snow back to the resort.  The 5km is on asphalt trail around the ski resort area.

August 18 -- Tacoma Waterfront Historic Walk
                    Freighthouse Square start is a 100 year old landmark and former terminus for the Milwaukee Railroad with many shops and eateries.

August 19 -- Walk in the Woods at Camp Berachah.
                    You'll wak on dirt trails, gravel road shoulders and sidewalks in and around the forested grounds of Camp Beracha, alongside a babbling brook and out into a heavily wooded residential community.

August 18-19 -- Regional Conference Swim -- 300 meters
                   Camp Berachah Swimming Pool
                   1pm - 4:30pm Saturday
                  10am -- 1:30pm Sunday
                  Pool ranges from a depth of 3' to 9.5'.  Bring your own towel.
