Cavalero Beach County Park Group Walk

This walk is a sanctioned group walk, the third walk of the three day Spring Getaway Walks which includes 3 new walks and 3 year-round walks, a potluck dinner and no-host lunches.  Come for one walk or stay for all of the walks.

Registration is from 9:30am to 10am.  If you arrive after 10am you will miss this walk.

5K or 10K options on trails rated 2.  The 10K walk is a "one-way" walk from Cavalero Beach County Park to the Elger Bay Cafe, the site of our no-host lunch after the walks.  5k walkers drive to the Elger Bay Cafe and do a special trail mostly in the woods from the cafe.

Keep the 10k "one-way" walk in mind when planning your participation, but, don't fret about it.  At the start, we will figure out ways to shuttle 10K walkers back to their cars.

Following lunch we will have a group walk of the Iverson Spit Preserve year round walk available -- the fourth walk of the getaway.  We register from 1:30-2pm at the Iverson Spit parking lot.  To do the walk at another time, go to the normal starting point at the True Value Hardware store.

This is a new route with 6/11k trails, rated 2.  Enjoy Camano Island countryside with views of Livingston Bay/Port Susan and the Cascades.
