Walk on scenic wooded trails in Camano Island State Park with views of Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island.
Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Pets permitted but NOT in buildings. Leash and cleanup of course.
The Trekkers are providing a dessert potluck. Bring a picnic lunch to eat waterside and have dessert on us while it lasts.
Volkssport USA is hosting a workshop on Nordic (Fitness) Walking with poles at 9:30am.
Directions:
I-5: Exit 212 (SR532/Camano Island). NB Left, SB right. Proceed over General Mark Clark Bridge to Camano Island. Left at fork following brown state park signs on E Camano Rd to 3rd stop light. Right on Camano Hill Rd (3 miles) to "T" intersection. Left following brown state park sign on W Camano Rd past Cama Beach State Park. Right on Lowell Pt Rd. Camano Island State Park entrance at bottom of hill. Right to picnic shelter on left.
