Experience winter along the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in historic Clarkston, WA. This is a guided walk on paved surfaces, sponsored by Lilac City Volkssport Association and is the only sanctioned walk in Asotin County this year. Everyone should be prepared for winter weather.
Choose either a 5K or 10K route. Both will be guided. Plan to be at Granite Park between 10am to 11am. Walk leaves the start point at 11am sharp. The walk is free, but for those wanting the IVV credit stamp ($3) it will be available at the finish between 1pm and 3pm. You'll need to finish by 3pm.
Depending on weather, the route is suitable for strollers, but not wheelchairs. Pets are permitted on leash with cleanup, but not in buildings.
While in Eastern Washington check out other Lilac City walks at http://lilaccityvolks.org/default.aspx.
