Parks Book 2012 - 2014

This book challenges you to complete 7 IVV sanctioned regular or year-round/seasonal events that pass by or through a park in each of the four categories for a total of 28 events.

1. City Parks (CI), 
   
2. County Parks (CO), 
3. State Parks (WA)
4. National Parks, National Forests or Federal Recreation Areas (US).
   

The completed book qualifies for the 5” x 5” patch in full color.

To qualify for one of these categories

• A given event may only be stamped under one category for each paid credit walk even if it is designated for several.  If the event is walked again and the credit fee paid, another category can be stamped.
• All types of volkssporting events count as long as you pay for IVV credit for the event.  Insert cards may be used but no write-ins. 
• When you finish an event, stamp your Parks Challenge book along with your regular IVV Event and Distance books and any other ESVA or AVA challenge books that qualify.
• The $10 cost of the book includes your book, tax and postage and your full color 5x5" patch award.  The cost is paid up front when you order your book.  The patch award will be sent to you when you mail in the completed book.  No refunds will be given.
• The sponsoring club must designate the event for that category in club brochures, the NW Pathfinder, walk listings, event finish tables, YRE directions/notebooks or this webpage.
