39 Counties Book

The 39 Counties program runs indefinitely and challenges you to complete a volkswalk or other volkssport event in each of the 39 counties of Washington state.  The event must actually pass through the county.  Each county will have a walk event available at least once every 2 years.

• Traditional (regular) events, YREs or seasonals all count, including bikes, cross-country skis, swims or other volkssport events, as long as the event has an official IVV stamp.
• You must pay for credit for the event and fill out a start card.
• The books must be filled with IVV stamps only (no write-ins), but insert pages may be used.
• When you finish a walk or other volkssport event, you can get stamps in your 39 Counties book at the same time you get stamps in your regular IVV Event and Distance books and other ESVA or AVA challenge books that qualify.
• The $8 cost of the book includes your book, postage and your patch award.  It also includes Washington State Sales Tax if sent to a Washington address.  No discount for other than Washington.  The cost is paid up front when you order your book.  The patch award will be sent to you when you mail in the completed book.  No refunds will be given.
