Port Townsend Kinetic Scupture Walk

Olympic Peninsula Explorers walk October 3rd

Port Townsend Kinetic Scupture Walk

The Olympic Peninsula Explorers had 100 walkers participating in their Kinetic Skulpture Event in Port Townsend October 3rd. The walks were a great mix of trail/streets taking you by a very active Farmer’s Market, Fort Worden, the Kinetic Sculpture Parade, brake and flotation tests. Each sculpture created is human powered and is a structurally questionable all-terrain object. There were approximately 15 skulptures in the parade/race this year , all competing for mediocrity. It was a day with great weather for walking and fun for all.  The Kinetic Sculpture race in Port Townsend is held the first weekend in October every year.
